We Want to See You at University of Scouting

University of Scouting is the largest, single-day training offered by the Longhorn Council. Classes are offered for both Scouts and adult leaders. There is also a midway with lots of helpful information and resources. Plan to join us at University of Scouting on November 19th at Tarrant County College- Trinity River Campus.

What is the University of Scouting? The University of Scouting is a leader's learning adventure! It is an action-packed, fun-filled single day of supplemental training where you choose the classes you wish to take. Classes are led by experienced volunteers and professionals who will help you enhance your ability to deliver a fun and exciting program to the Scouts.

The Latin phrase “ESTOTE PARATI” found on our shield means “Be Prepared.”  University of Scouting is designed to help you Be Prepared, further your knowledge, enhance your skills, and grow your network so you can better deliver the Promise of Scouting.
