About Us

Troop 1910 is an active group of around 100 Boy Scouts that believes the best way for boys to learn is by doing. We are a boy-led unit in every sense of the term that understands the sharing of tribal knowledge through peer-to-peer mentorship is what solidifies the learning opportunities presented at every level of Boy Scouts. Providing an environment to allow boys to grow not only emotionally, but in moral character is something Troop 1910 prides itself with. Empowering boys to be leaders... of themselves... their patrols... their unit... and beyond is the core of Scouting.

We welcome any boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old.

Meetings are Monday nights at 6:30 pm at the United Methodist Church of Keller's Family Life Center located at 1025 Johnson Road. Visitors are always welcome.

Troop 1910's adult leadership is second to none and consists of two organized groups that work in concert with one another. One group is the White Buffalo Patrol which consists of all of our Assistant Scoutmasters. The other is our Committee who keeps the Troop running on the administrative side.

We enjoy all types of high adventure activities, as well as basic camping, hiking and backpacking.

Troop 1910 is chartered by the Golden Triangle Rotary Club.
