July Campout

Troop 1910's July campout will be spent ziplining at Trinity Forest Adventure Park July 13-15. We will also be camping nearby at Cedar Hill State Park.

The Trinity Treetops aerial adventure courses feature high ropes courses of differing degrees of difficulty. You can warm up on a less challenging course, then face your fears, push your limits, and experience a new kind of adventure with the thrill of zipping through trees and conquering obstacles at up to 50 feet!

The cost is $40/participant.

Information about the courses and the permission form are linked below.

The permission form and ziplining fee are due July 9. An online waiver must be completed by the parent before youth can participate.

The waiver can be found HERE

Summer Camp Family Night

Thursday evening, June 21, is Family Night at Worth Ranch. Guests can join the troop for dinner at 6:00 PM., visit the Worth Ranch Museum, and attend the famous Family Night Campfire.

Tickets for all meals may be purchased at the Trading Post (dinner $9.00, $5.00 for children under 10).

Ms. Attel will need to know by Sunday’s departure if you plan to attend the Thursday night meal so that the Worth Ranch kitchen staff can be prepared.

Drivers Needed

We are in need of drivers for summer camp. If you can drive Scouts out to Worth Ranch near Weatherford next Sunday, or bring them back on the following Saturday, please let Ms. Attel know. Estimated departure time on Sunday is 10:30-11:00am. Estimated return time on Saturday is 11:00am-noon.

Summer Camp Updates

Each Scout attending summer camp must submit a Code of Conduct agreement to the summer camp coordinator, Ms. Attel, that has been signed by both the Scout and his parent. The Code of Conduct form is HERE.

Also, if you regularly take any medications, you will need to fill out a medicine form for the week of camp. It is HERE.

When you arrive next Sunday for camp, please bring the medications and the completed medicine form in a Ziploc bag with the Scout’s name on it.  It will be given to the Troop's designated Medicine Man who will ensure your Scout's medication is given as directed.
