Tonight is the weekly Troop meeting in the FLC at 6:30 pm.  

Don't forget that the campout Permission forms are DUE TONIGHT with grub money.

January 30 Troop Meeting

Order of the Arrow (OA) elections are Monday night.  If you’re unsure if you have met the requirements to be added to the OA election ballot, please contact Troop leadership.  We need a quorum for this vote so please plan to be there.

The OA requirements are as follows: 1st class scout or higher, over the last 2 years have attended a long term camp (summer or winter camp) of 5 nights or more, and 10 other camping nights over no more than 2 years. 

This is an opportunity to be recognized by your peers for living the Scout Oath and Law – don’t miss out!

Also on the agenda -- CAMPOUT MENU PLANNING

Encourage your scouts to think outside the box for their menu plan.  Lots of recipes and resources are online... Scout Life Magazine has a lot of articles for camp cuisine.  Here's a link to one with winning recipes.

There will be a Philmont practice hike on this campout.  Be sure to give $5 to Ms. Boyd for food.

Friendly reminder that the Troop meeting will be tonight at 7:00pm in the east parking lot.  Don't forget, we are in Activity Uniforms unless you are attending a Board of Review for rank advancement.

Friendly reminder that the Troop meeting will be tonight at 7:00pm in the east parking lot to empty the Troop Trailer chuck boxes and tent totes in preparation for Summer Camp gear. All outstanding paperwork and payments should be turned in by this date.

Court of Honor is tonight at 6:30pm.  Join us as we celebrate all who have advanced in rank and/or earned merit badges and awards in the past quarter.

We will be meal planning for the December camp-out. So be prepared to grab your cooler if you're QM for your patrol.  $15 per Scout and $20 per adult

See you tonight at 7pm at the Family Life Center. PLC (Patrol Leaders’ Council) at 6pm. All Patrol and Asst Patrol Leaders, the SPL team, and elected officers should attend all PLC’s for the purpose of planning upcoming Troop meetings, Campouts, and events for the Troop going forward.

Troop Christmas Party

Don't forget the Troop Christmas Party is December 10th and we are having our annual Chili Cookoff!  Leaders, parents and committee members, please bring your best crock of chili (along with your slow cooker full of chili, a serving spoon and any fixin's you would like to serve).

Recharter Paperwork and Dues Due TONIGHT!

And, at the meeting is a VERY IMPORTANT DEADLINE --the final opportunity to pay your RECHARTER MEMBER DUES!

Remember to bring TWO copies of the health forms which includes copies of your insurance cards.

All adults rechartering MUST have a current YPT or they will be not be included in the recharter, so bring a copy of your YPT cert to be sure (individual emails were sent to those with expired YPT).

If you have not turned in forms/paid/made arrangements for payment, then you will be DROPPED from the Troop roster, so please pay your dues!

Also, BSA dues increase in January, not to mention, you will have to go through the entire adult application process all over again, so thank you for helping us with the great year-end paper chase!
