Service Opportunities

Do you need service hours? Here are a couple opportunities to fulfill those for the church, as follows (Note that these are not Troop events, so parents are expected to attend and supervise/help with their Scout):

• Work with Cathy Dill at the Resource Center (church’s food pantry – work in 2 hour shifts) – sign up at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904094dadae2aa3fb6-resource

• 8/13 You Got This Back to School Event (2 hour shifts) – sign up at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904094dadae2aa3fb6-yougot Also, the 7am-9am slot for Food receiving is the one that they need the most help with.

Arlington Life Shelter Service

Each year, our troop helps the homeless and supports our charter organization, Keller United Methodist Church, by making sandwiches and creating sack lunches for the Arlington Life Shelter. We will be making 85-90 sandwiches this Friday, October 13, at the Scout House beginning at 5pm. Scouts who help will receive service hours. Please bring your Scout Handbook or school paperwork for the sign-offs.
