October & November Campout Forms -- DEADLINE for BOTH 10/17

October's Campout is at Lake Whitney State Park and will focus on Cooking.  October 21-23 Campout Permission form is attached and due 10/17.  Merit Badge worksheets available HERE

November's Campout is at Tahuaya Scout Ranch in Belton and will be the Highland Games.  November 11-13 Campout Permission form is linked below 10/17 also, along with the additional fees required – slots are going fast to attend this campout, and we want to be sure everyone has a chance to sign up, so we are getting it out there as early as possible. There are extra fees to attend this campout (Troop is paying $20 portion of Scout fees in that regard).

Parade Is Tonight

But we DO look forward to seeing you at the Keller High School Homecoming Parade to walk with the GTRC Units' float!  Drop off is at First Baptist Church at 5:15 pm.

Don't forget that tonight is the Keller Homecoming Parade which will be closing several roads so your prompt arrival is appreciated since our volunteers can't depart until every order is picked up.  

BSA E-Sports Tourney

  

The Boy Scouts of America is excited to announce the Fall 2022 Esports Tournament Series! What may have seemed like a far-fetched concept to Scouts 50 years ago is a serious passion of many Scouts today. That’s why the BSA has teamed up with Rally Cry to bring Scouts a tournament series this fall. Throughout the month of October, Scouts will be able to compete in single-day tournaments in Rocket League, Madden 23, and Smash Ultimate in separate age groups of 8-12 and 13-17!

Rocket League - 3v3 (all platforms)

• Date: Sat, October 15 @ 2pm ET
• Ages 8-12: Register Here
• Ages 13-17: Register Here

Madden 23 - Solos (Xbox Cross-gen)

• Date: Sat, October 22 @ 2pm ET 
• Ages 8-12: Register Here
• Ages 13-17: Register Here

Smash Ultimate - Solos (Nintendo Switch)

• Date: Sat, October 29 @ 2pm ET

The winner from each tournament and age division will receive a $100 gift card to the BSA Scout Shop!
